This is the story of a country of a thousand islands, of a wonderful nature, of a rich heritage and of great people, who with their works, have forever inscribed Croatia on the world map in big letters. This is a story of a country whose beauty was sung about a long time ago. Croatia has always been a place of true inspiration: Cassiodor, who wrote about the heavenly life of the patricians on its coasts; Dante, who wrote his immortal verses in front of the epic images of the azure sea; George Bernard Shaw, who found paradise on earth right here. This list could be continued at will.

Plitvice National Park - Northern Velebit National Park

The tourist region of Lika– Karlovac is in the continental part of Croatia, connecting the Dalmatian coast with the central part of the country. Probably the beauty is best expressed by the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a phenomenon that attracts by its uniqueness, but also by its effect on mental and physical well-being. The Northern Velebit National Park is an area with an extraordinary diversity of karst phenomena, richness of life and distinct natural beauty in a relatively small area.

Dalmatia - Zadar

The Zadar region is in the most northern part of Dalmatia, it is the welcome gate for all those who arrive from the North Adriatic. Full of contrasts, rich in historical heritage and beautiful nature. The first and perhaps the most intense experience of this area are the intense colors, especially the harmony of the intense blue of the sea, over which the dark green pines or olive trees descend directly to the sea. To all of this we must add the white Dalmatian stone dashing the coast and forming the pebble beaches that attract so many tourists.

Sibenik - Zlarin - Krapanj

The waters around Shibenik are a paradise for sailors. Each of the 240 islands and reefs offersomething interesting with its wild beauty of white karst stone in the blue and crystal-clear sea. If you want to meet the most famous coral fishermen of the Adriatic, go out to the island of Zlarin, and if you are interested in harvesting sea sponges, visit the island of Krapanj. However, if you want to experience something unique, go out to sea and discover the Kornati islands.

Kornati and Krka National Parks

The national parks, which are about 50 kilometers apart, are completely different. The National Park Kornati is an archipelago consist of 89 islands, reefs and rocks of unique beauty (there are 152 in total), which offers true pleasure and excitement for sailors, but at the same time awe because of the steep cliffs. The infamous writer Bernard Shaw, completely enchanted by this park, in one occasion wrote: "On the last day of creation, God wanted to crown his work and created the Kornati Islands from tears, stars and breath".
The Krka National Park follows the river Krka’s course, which is full of rough barriers, waterfalls and lakes. Sites are with breathtaking beauty and among the most popular motifs for postcards from Croatia.

Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is located at the most southern part of the country. For the Dalmatian region, Dubrovnik is the most famous representative, star of a prestigious world-famous magazines and leader on the list of the most beautiful cities in the world.
